Displays
1. Display while travelling with a truck subject to tolls
- When travelling with a truck subject to toll, the display shows the operating display of the OBU (declared number of axles, toll service used and current weight).
- The "Ψ" (Psi) symbol on the display indicates active mobile communication (data transmission) with the Toll Collect centre.
2. Display for a total weight of less than 7.5 t
- The weight class < 7.5 t can only be set for vehicles with a Technically Permissible Maximum Laden Mass of less than 7.5 tonnes.
- If this weight class is set, then automatic toll collection is not active.
- After the settings are made, the display will first show “DE: TOLL COLLECTION SWITCHED OFF” and after confirming “3 AXLES DE TOLL FREE” with the OK button, the green LED will light up.
3. Display for manual toll collection
- If the "TOLL COLLECTION DE: MANUAL" function has been selected in the menu, the on-board unit does not charge any toll until it is next started.
4. Display when toll collection is permanently switched off
- If "DE: SWITCHED OFF" is selected in the "TOLL COLLECTION” menu, toll collection is permanently switched off. No toll is charged via the OBU until toll collection is switched on again. This can be done every time the OBU is restarted or via the menu at any time.
- Please be aware that you must switch the "TOLL COLLECTION AUTOMATIC" mode back on in the menu before you travel on roads that are subject to toll.
5. Display within Austria — with activated TOLL2GO (AT service)
- In Austria, toll collection with the OBU is indicated exclusively by acoustic signals. The tone signals cannot be switched off.
- The OBU display shows the number of axles and the country designation.
- The green LED is not relevant for toll collection in Austria. If the red LED is lit and flashing, there is a fault that is described in the “Error messages” menu.
6. Display in Austria without TOLL2GO (AT service) and in other countries
- In Austria without the "TOLL2GO" service activated and in all other countries, no toll collection takes place with the OBU.
